Pink in the Rink

Saanich Junior Braves (VIJHL)

The Saanich Braves played in their annual Anneswer to Cancer event last night. Although the score board did not favour the Braves, the night was nothing short of amazing. Pearkes Arena was packed as people flowed in from all corners of Victoria. People had the opportunity to participate in a Silent Auction, Jersey Auction, Chuck-a-Puck, and Shoot-to-Win (Soccer Style) The Saanich Junior Braves organization raised over $20,000 for Anneswer to Cancer.

Six members of the Saanich Braves shaved their head; Kyle Mace, Dale McCabe, Jake King, Nathan Hauser, Treyh Sidaway, and Riley Weins. Even trainer Joel Walkey trimmed up his beard for the cause! Overall the night was a smash success. Thank you everyone who was involved in making the night so great!
